Hey guys, just bought the new Ratchet but when I try to burn it (first with cheap Teon DVDs and now with SONY DVDR-'s) it always says that the burn failed at the end. I try to play the game and it works fine (which is weird since it says the burn failed...I burn with Nero usually works fine..) all the way until I get to the part of the training at the beginning where I have to use the transporter to move to the next room: the PS2 chokes there...on both DVDs I burned, same spot.
I have old Swap magic disks (version 2), will upgrading to version3 (thats the newest right) change anything? Will it help games that skip a little like NFS or SSX on Tour, or is that just because of bad media... Im gonna try burning everything else with the better quality SONY DVDR-s, but like I said it didnt help Ratchet from freezing at that same spot over and over. Cant think of any other reason other than the game is copy protected somehow, cuz it kept saying "burn failed". Also, I burn at 1x, that is the best right? Has anyone else gotten Ratchet Deadlocked to work?

hi. i had a pack of quality discs (i forget what brand) & was backing up ps2 games using Nero right at the end i kept getting a burn error (on several games) i then tried the same discs using DVD Decrypter & the same games they worked pserfect. also all other dvds i had worked fine with Nero it was just the one pack that gave me problems. try burning with DVD Decrypter & see if that works (it is a free program that you can find by searching google)
