I've browsed through the various messages and noticed several with the same type of issue, and this also is my problem. I've grabbed many of the TV shows such as 24, Lost, Las Vegas... and I will use Nero to place 3 or 4 of the shows onto a single DVD.
I have done a few disks which had no problems at all, until recently. It seems like the "first" episode will be ok, but once it starts displaying the second show there is a little screen glitch and then the audio goes out of wack. (I have originals registered for both Nero 6 and 7, latest updates for both.) And as each clip progesses, it seems like the audio goes farther out of sync.
I had thought that maybe one of the updates for 7 messed things up, so I removed Nero and re-installed from the original CD, tried it by just using the base and it failed. I installed the updates one at a time and repeated the tests only to have it fail over and over again. So I nuked 7, installed 6 (just the NVE side) and the same thing still happens.
The individual files all play fine in ShowTime, Media Player and Media Player Classic. In Nero, I "burn" to a folder rather than directly to a DVD. Playing from the folder files has the same problem so this is not a DVD or firmware issue.
I added in, over time, a few other sniffing/editing/massaging of video utilities type programs, and thought that since it USED to work ok before that maybe one of those programs were interfering... so I removed all of those and tried again, only to still have the same problem.
Nero support is less than helpfull... any suggestions? Thanks kindly in advance :)
