ok heres what my problem is..... ive been looking through all of the posts and realize that everyone keeps talking about mod chips and magic swap and things like that.... what is that. do i need that to copy a game or what? ive tried to burn shadow hearts covenant disc 1 cuz it messes up in my ps2(scratches) but it keeps having some error a 47%. i did madden 05 but itdidnt work in my ps2 it went straight to the browser menu. if someone could plz let me in on some info i will be entirely their debt.and if you have anythin else that i might need to do then tell me that also.thnx ASAP

if you searched these posts at all, you would have found plenty of answers to your questions.

Swap Magic is a boot discs needed to play PS2 back up games.
With this you will need either a slidecard or fliptop with the older chunky PS2. Or a slimtool,ghost switch, magic switch, or of course an aftermarket flip top with the slim PSTwo

A mod chip is something installed into your PS2 that will do the same thing as the above mods will do, and a lot more. It is the best way to go if you are not playing many games online. If you are and have the original discs you will still be ok. I am just not sure how many back ups you can play online. I know there are 2 that you can't, but the rest you may be able to.

do some research and you will find all the answers you could want. there have been many threads here about the best mod chip, the best media, swap magic, how to copy games, how to rebuild a game, and anything else you could want.
