i have a widescreen tv, and i recently learned how to set the xbox360 to the 1080i format. but since i did that, the screen looks squished. i think i have to set the xbox360 to widescreen tv format or something but i'm not sure how to do that. when i press 'screen format' under the 'display' section, nothing happens. in addition, my picture setting on my tv is in full mode. thanks, and any suggestions will be appreciated.

What kind of a tv you have? You can't change the screen format, because 1080i is 16:9 format, so it can't be changed.

i have a sony xrd. it should support 1080i i would think. any ideas on why the game seems squished?

I can't figure out how it could look squisehed. Just check yor tv's native resolution, and use it ti get the best results.
