This movie works with only AnyDVD in the backfround. Then use Fab decrypter. Then run it through Vobblanker to get rid of anything you don't want on the disc. Then after Vobblanker is done simply use shrink and presto.

anydvd has not been updated for this movie yet this is the third instance! I've read about use dvdfabdecrypter or psl2 wizard found here
http://psl2-plugin.cdr-zone.com/forum/index.php?sid=8e521ed19be4e...

since I got my first (& last) runtime error 0006 I've been using the psl2 file wizard if you do not want to use the wizard and create your own here is the psl2 file created for r1

http://www.dvdhounds.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2477&postcount=3

just copy paste it on to a note pad on your hd and before using dvdd click on files> protected sectors list> then browse for the file you dl'ed and it will do the rest just use decrypter as you normally would!

L8ter thankyou for your reply.I have never heard of psl2 wizard but this should stop the 0006 error?dvdfab decrypter did not help with this movie at all.I still got the error after the encoding process when starting the rebuild process.Do you use the psl2 wizard on every movie or just on problem ones?Is this difficult to use?I will give it a try and thanks.
Mace.

I use it on every rip as it just adds a couple clicks if you go to the first link I gave you you will find that there is an installer that puts everything together for you! then you just start in pgcedit and it will open all the other prog's for you including shrink to analyze so you know there was no problem's!

then if you use rebuilder to access imgburn or dvdd then! your there is what amounts to just two steps!

never had a need for any updates!

hard well that's in the eye of the beholder! give it a go if you do not wish to make the extra clicks then ask me for a file and I'll get one up @ hounds lickety split!

good luck!

I used that AnyDVD and though I am not sure what it did it seemed to fix the problem.... What I am currious about is this.

DvD Decrypter is supposet to do that are they not keeping it updated is why its not working? I used the AnyDVD and now I am running the DVD Decrypter it seems to be working now that AnyDVD did whatever it is that it does. Though I only get 21 days on this trial version of AnyDVD.

I am not a big DVD burning person though I do it ocassionally. Before all I use to have to use was DVD Decrypter and then DvDshrinker if it was DVD 9 meaning double layer.

Be nice if was a simple program out there that did everything and had high qaulity. seems like have to do alot of searching every 3 months or so or keep current.

Any ideas or thoughts on this? I am taking programming maybe I will be able to write my own programs soon but thats a bit off as I am still a baby in the field. :P

Thanks for time,

Brian

DVD Decrypter is no longer being updated, the developer was put out of business by Macrovision. If you want a free program that will rip the new protections then use DVDFab Decrypter, it is updated. Just rip to your HDD then use Shrink and whatever burning program you use. Here is a site and guide to help.

if you have the wizard installed you just need to open pgcedit and clickon the plugin menue and select the psl wizard it will walk you through everything from there!

or you can get the installer version here this has every thing you need already installed in the right place and a shortcut will be placed on the desktop just click on pgcedit and it will begin!

you can get the installer form here

Have you guys tried the new update of Fab with this movie? Just released on the 12th I think. I didn't use RB for this program, but Fab and Recode worked fine for me, I did "Movie Only". And this was before the latest update of Fab. Just be sure to uninstall any previous version of Fab you have before installing the new one, and do not run AnyDVD while ripping with Fab.

there does seem to be an issue with dvdfab and AnyDVD running at the same time.It seems that the new version of AnyDVD has fixed the headers problem with dvddecrypter.Fabdecrypter is a great proggy i am sure but i am a creature of habit and am comfortable with dvddecrypter.
peace,
