Suspended due to non-functional email address

I downloaded norton2006 upgrade. Now I have real trouble retrieving email in outlook express. Have had to disable norton antivirus and firewall to allow emails to be sent and retrieved. Any suggestions?

why use norton as can use free anti-virus programs & firewalls such as avg7 free edition from grisoft & zone alarm free version from zone labs
