will halo 3 really come out, i doubt it, but on the other hand i remember reading somehwere that they started halo 3 as soon as they started halo 2, soo anything could happen, i just think they shoul bring it out in the summer when more people have xbox 360's. thats another reason why i think ghost recon will fail on the xbox 360 b/c not enough people have the machine and by the time more machines come around gears of war will arive or now maybe even halo 3.

i believe what you said as well.... prolly wont see halo 3 till there are more systems available and even then..maybe not till there actually sitting on the shelves. this could be the major selling point for the 360...so i would think m$ would have some kind of strategy for releasing it... its the blockbuster title that everyone is waiting for

no i not think so as oblivion a game releasing on xbox 360 has been in the making for 3 and a half years.

There's no way it can be ready yet. There's no pics, videos or info about the game what so ever. I think that pics and trailers build up more hype than delaying the game. And there are always huge news when a game goes gold. So this piece of news is as bs as a bs can be.

Halo 3 was supposedly being released when the PS3 is released to knock down the sales of the System, But recently they moved the release date for Halo 3 till 07 some people have claimed. Still no one knows unless maybe if you post the question on Bungie.net that you will find out the real release date. But one thing is for sure, the Halo movie in my opinion will be the fall of halo.

i have to disagree there i thinka film will make the name of halo well kown and if it turns out good then people will go out and qwant to get that, and considering that peter jackson (king kong, lord of the rings director) is directing it, so it has a good chance of being good.

King king wasn't even good. Peter Jackson is just considered as a god after lotr movies, so everything he directs is gold. I only hope that they don't let Uwe Boll to fiddle with project. That would be last nail in the coffin.

well considering that he already had a story made for king kong and he could not change that to the way he might have wanted, he still did a really good job, i went to see it on the largest screen in london and thought it was awesome.

Well yeah, the visuals were awesome, thanks to Weta. But there wasn't much more to it. Kudos to Jackson anyway since he was the one who formed Weta in the first place to do effects for lotr movies. I admit that it was better than average film, but nothing revolutionary. Full Metal Jacket is still the best movie ever.

lol, its cool i started the thread, i just wanted to say i have never heard of Full Metal Jacket, i might check it out. my fav film is the Butter fly effect, i do not know why i just love that movie. oh and kung fu hustle

Never heard of Full Metal Jacket? Well you really should see it. It's directed by Stanley Kubrick. You should check 2001: A Space Odyssey and Clokwork Orange too (both Kubrick movies too), they're awesome too. I know Kungfu Hustle, it's one the funniest movies ever. I suggest that you watch Shaolin Soccer too, if you liked kungfu hustle. It's from the same director as kugnfu hustle (Stephen Chow).
