Lil' Linksys help?

Hey fellas, I got a little problem.

Whenever I install the drivers for my linksys network adapter (WUSB54G, Ver.1) the drivers never show up on the device manager. Now I know this is a problem but the funny part was I used to get connection anyway. I guess my luck ran out.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to show up?

Running WINXP, MB: Gigabyte GA7N-400 pro 2

I've managed to get the adpater up and running on another computer so its apparent that the problem is with my first computer and not the adpater itself.
Any help is appreciated.
