ive got a bt voyager 2110 router just dunno which will be better for torrent downloads between haveing it wireless or wired am using utorrent as my client and i have a 2mb connection until sometime in march when at long last 8mb will be getting enabled at long last.

it shouldnt make any difference on a 2 meg internet connection as a standard wired networks tend to run at 100Mbps and wireless networks tend to be 54Mbps so speed wont be affected at all unless you have an internet connection greater than 54mbps.

however id still suggest a wired connection as its way more secure than wireless... with a wireless connection all it takes is someone to walk past your house with a wifi enabled laptop and they can use your net and browse your files.. even if you have a network key security isnt guaranteed, with a wired network a person would have to physically plug an CAT5 lead into your router to gain access to your network
