can a burned swap disc work on my ps2 with no modchip??

hey i just put a hard drive in my ps2 and i need to run a program on it i have it but i cant run i "Please insert a formatted disc"
so is there any why that i can burn these disc so it will work
i dont have a mod chip :(

no, you'll need an original swap magic disk for disk swapping, a modchip for no swapping or load the ISO files from your PC to the HDD but you'll stil need a way to boot to the HDD, you can use a MC exploit or buy an original boot disk if you dont want to install a chip that will do it for you.

i just seen your other post, the GAmeshark isnt going to replace a modchip, you have to have a chip or swap magic to boot a backuped disk.
what i was explaining is Gameshark 2s made by MadCatz (V3 to present) will not boot a backup disk even with a modchip, the V2 and below would.
