MS releasing defected X360's on purpose??

MS probably saw and knew that the X360 would sell out at launch, so they defected the units on purpose, so the buyers woudl be forced to buy another unit, meaning increasign the sales 2x, but then it didn't work because too many p[eople decided to send the units back. And no I am not a fan boy of any systems, I enjoy all of them equally, except GC.

seriously dude u gotta be to think they released defective ones on purpose.
It's not like people went out to buy a new one if it was defective:
1) There was a shortage
2) Warranty covers it for 3 months
3) Why would they want bad publicity

I was thinking, becuase that's what PS2 did, or atleast it seemed like it. All PS2s (except V7) had laser problems and a lot of peopel who have bought a PS2 had to buy a 2nd one.

I am kind of thinking that SOny is kind of smart when it comes to selling systems.
1. First they hype their machines
2. Then people buy they're machines
3. Then the consumers are forced to buy memory cards, controllers, etc...
4. They release machines with problems on purpose so consumers are forced to buy ANOTHER machine
5. ^ That could/would/ possibly raise the units sold by 2x.

Isn't that what all smart gaming console companies try to do...minus #4. Once again y would you give yourself a bad name for selling defected units on purpose. that would equal LESS sales which definatly isn't what they are after. People know, or should know that there is always going to be bugs for the first version or two of any sort of electronic equipment so people PLEASE stop the whinning. And as for #3 with out the sales of controllers, memory cards etc these companies wouldnt make any profit at all since theses consoles cost a whole lot more to make then their MSRP. Just to let u know im backing up MS and i am a Sony fan boy so hehehe
