or is there any thing else i can do besides a swap disc or a mod chip?

gamesharks dont boot games its one of the techniques modchips uesd to do b4 a direct boot codchip came and bside modchips and swap disc there hdd(harddrives)

there also cogswap exploit, but you need a way to boot it once.

didn't there used to be a "knife trick" back in the day that allowed using gameshark as a boot disk? This was long ago and I don't remember the full details but do a search on the net for knife trick. Also if I remember correctly there was a certain version of gameshark 2 that you needed to do this trick (and that version isn't available in stores anymore).

yea gameshark 2 veresion 2 and earlier versions using that and the knife
