hey im trying to cheat socom and when i try to put in the mastercode/must be on code thing for gameshark it doesn't work.

i have gameshark 2 version 5 i think (its the one with the silver metal box)

i go to select cheats and then say add game and call it socom; then i say add cheat and when i put the mastercode/ must be on code in it doesn't turn purple link the ones that are already on it;

can someone tell me how do make it work or how to cheat socom with gameshark 2

No Cheat System will allow Cheating On Online or the companies will complain to them. Also I think this is the wrong sub-forum for your post

well im not trying to have online play
and im having quite the same problem
when i enter code i am unable to select the code to and i am further confused bc gameshark changes the 3rd and 4th digit values to some random number. i have no idea how to prevent it and i need help.

WELL YOUR WRONG you can use a gameshark online with socom. but instead of puting in socom you put in SOCOM 3 (or wat ever number you play) US NAVY SEALS ONLINE then you put in everything else if that doesent work you need a new better gameshark

if u just add the name of the code (M) must be on... un can use the cheat, u need to put the CODES. Click right arow in the control and ul see a screen in blank, hit corcle and click add code, add the first line, then the secon and the tird bla bla bla. Or maby the code is wrong or something. Be cause u CAN cheat on socom. U cant cheat wile playing online but in the "home play" u can.
