After looking around for a while, i came to the conclusion that the only unbootabel game via devhook .40/.41 is Outrun. All other 2.6 games seem to be running, often with a little patching.

Ok i just downloaded devhook and i have no idea what i am doing how do i load my ISO's?
I have placed all the files in the right place is there anything else i need? I have the latest version with the 333mhz fix and a 1.5 psp.
P.S Does anybody have the sound fix for MX vs ATV?

need some help here. monster hunter froze while on loading screen then my psp shuts down, im using devhook 0.40,other iso are working properly.thanks

I cant load games but something happend i pressed on DevHook and it loaded my MX vs ATV then the sound worked n stuff so i turned it off and i had a 2.5?!!?!?

Mine fixed for no reason!?!? I had a 2.5 then when i turned my PSP off it went to 1.5 again!?

Devhook is emulating the 2.5 FM, thats y u c it when u exit a game. Nothing to worry abut. Like Thirst said, resets once u turn of ur psp

so do you actually have to dump flash from a 2.50 game? No one has mentioned this. ppl just keep saying they got the games working, but no one says they dumped the flash, then got it working. From the way SvtStang is making it sound, he just installed DevHook and all the corresponding files, patched the game w/ diff PRX files and it worked straight away. WTF? You know what my problem is now? Splinter Cell is such a big game, I think my PSP thinks it's ready for sleep mode while I'm ripping the game. My PSP just shuts off during the rip. I have tried this 4 times now, each time takes around 1.5+ hours. It's BS. I don't wanna do this anymore, but I really wanna play Splinter Cell really badly. So I CAN'T give up. Tho I am going to return Coast to Coast. I ALMOST upgraded for that game. A/f/a I'm concerned tho, no game is worth upgrading over if you have a 1.50. Actually, I take that back - the ONLY game worth upgrading over would be Gran Turismo 4 Mobile. I have been waiting for that game since the US release of the PSP and I'll be damned if I am going to wait around for someone to find a hack once that game is released. Hopefully by that time, I will have the mod chip so I can upgrade and still play ISOs. Imagine what that will be like, ppl - Running ISOs and NOT having to mess w/ prx files. That will be a great day; that will be a great day, indeed.

Pretty much LOL. In all seriousness, the two games u want to play right now, cell and outrun are pains in the arse. When ur ripping cell, just touch the d pad every couple minutes, no biggie. As far as Outrun, its a losing battle, their is a certain file in it that is by no means decryptable. BTW i agree with u bout GT Mobile, except ill prob buy another psp if its not loabable at the time of its release;)

Hi! I've been trying to get Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories to work on my Japanese PSP v1.50 but to no avail. It works fine using UMDEmulator and then MPH Game Loader but without, of course, multiplayer. I've now acquired DevHook v0.41a and all the other games are working fine. GTA LCS on the other hand doesn't even load up. I'd be extremely grateful if someone could post the DevHook settings they used in order to get it to work including the wifi multiplayer. FYI, here are my current settings:
UMD Select: GTA LCS.iso
UMD Mount: ISO NOUMD (1.50 only)
UMD Version: 2.xx -> 2.00
Firmware: 2.50 + 2.00
CPU Clock: 222MHz/111MHz
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
P.S: I have the Street Rider PRX files but can someone please explain why they are so important? Also, I've noticed that the 150 and 150F folders in my DevHook's "dh" folder contain nothing but text files. The 200 and 250 folders however, contain a few files including two flash folders. Do I need to get similar files for 150 and 150F? If yes, then how do I go about doing this?

I;m tired, found this quick, compliments of Crazyfool he was kind enough to post this in another thread a few days ago:)
With GTA, i opened a full untouched iso in WinRAR and extracted the contents. you'll find that the contents will only be about 850Mb (something to do with the padding of the ISO?).
This stage may not be necessary, but i did it to save room on my memory stick and because custom sountracks work with devhook. i ripped the update and all the radio stations using Lande's UMD Ripper 2.5 (from PSP-Hacks.com)
Then I just rebuilt the ISO using UMDGEN 3.01 (don't bother using Ciso, you'll find its really jerky even at 333). The ISO should be about 570Mb, just copy it to ms0:\ISO, and run devhook. I think you may have to use at least 0.41, i tried it on 0.40 originally and i got black screen. Use the following settings in devhook and it should work
UMD Select: Whatever you've called the ISO (e.g.GTA LCS.iso)
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
UMD Version: 2.XX -> 2.00
CPU Clock: 333 MHz
If you run it at 222 its as jerky as a .cso of GTA at 333, but i've found it runs fine at 333 for .iso
That's what i did anyway, no prx swaps. I did dl the ISO though (slap wrists)

hey guys. i need help . i have downloaded fifa street 2 , but whenever i tried to load it wif device hook 0.40 , it always says "cant load / cant start device hook" what shld i do?? and i oso heard frm some guys saying that i have to dl umd gen for my fifa street 2, but i do not noe how to use the prog ( umd gen)! help me pls. need help ! thanks a million

It's taken me a while and a lot of mucking around, but finally got Tomb Raider Legend (iso) working as well as the Internet Browser (in 2.50)! Very stoked, thanks all for your help. If anyone needs any help, let me know, more than happy to advise after 2 days of pain!

can sum1 help me get street fighter alpha workin on dev hook? i need a step by step guide i think its confusin me because its not an iso its in 3 seprate folders 1 called psp 1 called stalpha and 1 called x?
is there a way 2 make this in2 an iso so all i hav 2 do is pop it in the iso folder and run the same ways as lemmings or poker?
if im not aloud 2 ask this.......then sue me
