Can't give you an exact link mate but if you have a look at this link there is a list of loads of different torrent sites where you can find pretty much anything, just read the comments before you download... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/358693

Hi been reading this thread and you seem to know what your talking about so i was hoping that you might beable to help me, now iv only recently moved to the 1.5 scene :).. as i used the 2.60 downgrader so im still abit nOObish :P.
now i was using daxziso loader for some iso's i had and that worked fine, but i thought i'd try some newer games, FIFA Street, Super Monkey ball, DBZ, etc but couldnt get them to work, so i found this thread and followed your earlier instructions, d/led the dev hook you linked installed ok, setup settings, but it will load the 2.5 firmware but then says "The Disc Could Not Be Read" any help would be greatly appriciated.

[EDIT]
sorry im a complete idiot didnt know dax compression wasnt compatible with devhook.

I have devhook 2.40a installed (the full 13+ Mb version), I've followed all the instructions, I can run devhook, it will turn my PSP into a 2.5 or 2.0 version, once its run.

However I have a number of ISOs in my MS:\ISO (uppercase) folder, I can load them (selecting them in the Devhook menu) and even change which one is mounted by using <Home> and <L> or <R> when I'm back in the home menu.

But my issue (and that of a number of people in this thread) is why don't they boot? I get no error messages but no matter what I try and which of the iso/cso's I have on my MS none of them will boot. I would have thought they should boot once Devhook exits and reboots my PSP into its new temporary 2.50 environment but that never happens regardless of what Devhook setting I use or the isos I use.

Any suggestions?

Well let me answer my own question above!!

Place any UMD in the drive otherwise ISOs/CISOs will not boot, simple as that - all working now :)

Not any umd, it has to be a game or demo, not a movie.

damo can you please help me, i have installed the pre-loaded pack with all of the files....i've installed the newest update to devhook (.42a)

so far everything has worked perfectly, the browser and my iso's work, however my socom iso and GTA iso will not work, the other iso's which do not require 2.0+ firmware work perfectly...my socom iso boots, but it hangs on "now loading" my GTA iso boots but all i get is a black screen and i have to press home to exit.

my socom and GTA iso works with umdemulator and MPH gameloader....so i don't think the iso is bad.....any thoughts?

Sorry to intrude damo, but the iso's arnt working because they were patched with the said loaders. Both GTA and Socom boot on devhook untouched. Either repatch the iso's with their original prx's or find new iso's.

So do all firmware 2.00 (not 2.5 or 2.6) ISOs work untouched?

And does DevHook decrypt the PRXs realtime during gameplay?
I haven't been in the PSP Scene for a while so Im new to this DevHook thing.

No, most 2.5 as well as 2.6 iso's require minor patching(i cant say this about .42a and b though, havent used them yet). There are very few off the top of my head that will load as is, I know Breath of Fire as well as Street Fighter Alpha load without patching. Most iso's can be fixed with Street Rider prx's, so its not that big of a deal. Still cant get that damn Outrun to load though lol.

BTW, to all, do yourself a favor and get Tekken, it is sick!!

Hi, i have a few questions about Devhook ^^
I'm trying to play Tekken. Since i have a 1 gig card, i got a rip version of 812 megs.
Now, my psp used to be a 1.5. Since i bought MGA2, it's now 2.6.
I used a downgrader and it's now back to 1.5 again.
After installing the Devhook 0.41d, and putting the tekken ISO, i still can't play the game. It just doesn't boot ; ;, the game that is. I can see the Dhook menu. Maybe i'm not using the right settings?
Anything i'm doing wrong?
Any help will be much appreciated,
thanks.

You can't use movie umds to run devhook, you need to use either a game or a demo.

Hello, I have Devhook .43 running on my 1.5
Im able to load ip FW2.6.
My problem is when im picking which iso i want to play. None of them show up in the list, just -- UMD DISC -- is visable.
I have my Isos in the root folder of the memory stick labeled "ISO"
Can some one tell me why i dont see the isos in the list?

They should be in a folder called ISO. Do you have it like that?
Do they have the extension .ISO or .CSO?

Remember you can't run DAX ISos using DevHook.

Yes they are in a folder labled ISO. They are .iso and i have one .cso .EDIT windows tells me the .iso's are files but it knows the .cso is a .cso . The iso's work on fastloader.
