Sorry what? :P Nail gun? Compressor? hehe

As for the assembly, the stuff mostly comes with manuals to help you out, don't forget obvious stuff though, like using standoffs for the motherboard screws.

I've got most of the hardware all put together, i just don't know where to plug everything in. what's all this sata, ide stuff? Is there a certain way this should be set up? my parts for this system are on page 1. any help appreciated.

Fan's should directly plug into the fan header on the motherboard.

Did you buy a new HDD? If it's a new one it's probably Sata.

Faulty graphics driver most likely. Try getting a more up to date one off the internet.

Not necessarily, the graphics driver will be loaded at the very beginning, before the logon screen.

Unplug every peripheral, keyboard and mouse included, and see if you still get the error/crashes.

been camping for a week but managed to figure it out before i left. adjusted the ram (instead of putting them side by side I put them in the same color coded slots) and also went into bios and set on 64 bit instead of default 32. no crashed yet. thanks alot everybody for your input and help. btw is it normal for the 4850 card to run around 65 degrees idle?

Ah right, yeah, using the same coloured slots is near essential these days, and yes the 4850 is meant to idle that hot, if not hotter.

Bigger fan. More heat but still.

Mine Idled at 65 once I ramped up the speed. The noise didn't change.
