Cool, glad you got it all working.
I have the wii classic controller for the SNES games, but I almost think that any of the games like 64 or SNES that used a dual analog stick, need it.
It may work just with wii remote and nunchuck, I just don't know for sure.
I haven't tried any of the wii64 games as we use the laptop to play Nintendo64 games on an emulator.
so sorry you may have to search that question or just try it.

I haven't used this blog for a while but I have searched in vain to find out how to fix my problem... I recently bought Guitar Hero: World Tour (backup) which loads fine and all the fret buttons work in the menus and stuff but when I strum and press a button at the same time the note is delayed so I have to 'play' the note before it hits the circle. Do you have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?

I am having trouble with the HomeBrew Browser today. Everything is fine when I boot it up until it trys to connect to codemii.com. It then says "The server appears to be having an issue. Retrying..." I tried accessing codemii.com on the computer afterwards and I got a 500 Internal Server Error or something like that. Is codemii having problems or is it just my Wii and how can I fix it??? P.S. I did an internet connection test and it was fine.
Also, I recently deleted my copy of WAD Manager v1.3 because I was going to upgrade. Unfortunately I upgraded my Wii to v4.2E... I then downloaded WAD Manager v1.5 which came with only a .dol file and nothing else. I pit the .dol file into my APPS folder and continued to turn on my Wii. In the HomeBrew Channel the WAD Manager did not appear I then retried with v1.3 and it went to a black screen. Can you please give me detailed instructions on what to do?!!! I'm desperate as I have recently downloaded heaps of WiiWare wads and I also need to download a patched IOS to allow me to play fake WiiWare titles form the SD card menu!!!

The 4.2 update Nintendo has put out has bricked many an unmodded wii,and was intended to wipe out Homebrew mods
This update replaces ALL SYSTEM TITLES, INCLUDING BOOT2.
Overwrites 222, 223, and 249!
Bannerbomb = Gone.

Thanks for trying but that didn't really help. I managed to fix the Homebrew Browser and then installed WAD Manager v1.5 but I do not know how to use it!!! Can you please provide me with a step by step guide on how to use it starting at what IOS to choose from? I also want to take full advantage of installing the WADs via the computer so could you please give me more information about that.
I realise that the WAD Manager won't work at the moment but could you notify me when a Wii v4.2 Fix comes out and how to use that too... I am a bit clueless!!! :)
Sorry if I sound a bit pushy or whingy but I am paniking!!!

You would be best asking someone other than me. I am not sure what all has been overwritten on your wii, and what exactly you need to fix it.
I believe it has to do with the IOS249
That is the IOS used for Wadmanager also.
I successfully updated to 4.2u using Wanininko's Safe 4.2 updater.
I first had updated my hbc to 1.06, installed Bootmii
I then updated my Shop Channel to 4.2
Then I ran the 4.2 updater.
All my homebrew is working so far. USB GX loader, Backup loader and Wad Manager 1.5
I would ask over at GBAtemp.net. Just post your previous post there.
Or post right here as a new thread.

Yes, usually you have to wait until Waniniko puts one up.
But for your problem, I would ask them over at gbatemp.net
More of them have tested the 4.2 and would know what you need to fix your problem.

Check out the new BootMii guide I made here. Please comment on it. There is another one on the way on how to fix your Wii if you updated it and now it doesn't load your backup game launcher or WAD Manager.

Well thats good and all, but its nothing new.
Its been around now for quite awhile, and there already are good faqs and install on it with pictures for those who may need it.
But good job though.
So I am gathering you now know how to use Wad Manager 1.5 and have fixed your wii.

I just wanted to bring it to afterdawn. It took me awhile to change it so that everyone could understand it and the other tutorial was written for previous download versions of NUN Downloader, WAD Manager, etc... so I had to change a lot because of that.
I am halfway through fixing my Wii and I am going to make another thread when I have... if it works.

I don't know how to connect it to the computer and stuff like that but it still doesn't work normally anyway. I failed at fixing my Wii and so I am waiting for a fix to come out to allow me to use Homebrew Browser, WAD Manager and Backup Launcher. Any help would be appreciated!!!
