i am using a lite-on sowh 1693s burner to burn dvd. the leadin time to back up a dvd takes about 90 seconds versus 20 secs with my sony dru 810a...any reason why it takes so long with the liteon?...i have a p4 2.4gig processor with 2 gigs of ddr memory running on my system...i use sony and verbatim media...

Make sure that DMA is enabled for both or your drives and that your firmware is current.
