Someone here has to know how to burn ps2 games on a mac. I have mac the ripper, DVDbackup, DVD2oneX, and FFmpegX. All I need to know is how to use what program and what chip to get. Someone please help!!
to help w/ the chip, i would get the dms 4 ez install, cux u don't need to sodder. or go to www.teammodders.com and buy the chip of your choice there, send in your ps2, and they will mod it for a fee.
about burning you can buy toast or use disk utility becausemost files come in iso's.
i am trying to add a custom patch to my ps2 soccer game. my understanding is that i need to make an iso file of the original, add my patch to the iso and then burn it on a DVD-R disk. my problem is that i can not figure out how to do that on my mac (G5)-the "make an iso" part. all my copies come up .dmg-i'm guessing that is the mac version of an iso but truthfully i do not know much about file types. plus when i try to add the patch to that copy using ppfomatic3 (for mac) the app closes automatically.
It's easy, the only program I use to rip PS2 Games is toast 7. Never had a problem as of yet and I've done ten games or so.
Put in the game, open toast 7, click on the copy tab, go up to File.. Save as Disc Image. Save it wherever. When that is done, double click on the file and burn. Easy enough...
