The dummy file for the NTSC version is located in the PAC folder. It's called dmydata I believe.

Well then you can live with the results. Memorex blows, get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim's from http://www.supermediastore.com

well, if you are using memorex affectinately known in AD as Memosux. then i ain't surprised.

burn it onto high quality media like Verbatims or Maxell or Taiyo Yuden.

remember go for Made in Japan media.

Isn't it necessary to overwrite the dummy file if you're using Swap Magic Hursty? I've heard reports recently of this game and Dragon Quest VIII (both of which have dummy files) not needing rebuilt. What's your take on that Hursty?

why?

its the first i have heard, >>>> overwriting the dummy files from games that have a low TOC

i may be wrong on this, but i am sure someone will put me right if i am

wwe smackdown vs raw 2006 is under 4gb i believe so swapmagic disk's should handle this game fine

i havent heard of anyone having problems with this game,so my guess its the disks,(as usual)

step 4a

when you see the iso has dummy files.i.e 00DUMMY. 01DUMMY. GARBAGE ETC,
you need to get rid of them,by replacing them with a file.

so on the desktop, right click the mouse, select "new" > text document
rename it as it appears in isobuster, click enter

then open the text document on the desktop, hit space once, then save,
this will create a text document with 1 byte in it,

do this for all the dummy files you have,as some games have more than one.

DO NOT DRAG THE DUMMY FILES,FROM ISO BUSTER INTO THE NEW FOLDER

when you do step 7 , you need to add the new dummy files into Nero,as instructed,in the same order as isobuster
This is straight from your Nero/IsoBuster/Rebuild Guide. So this only applies to high TOC games? I must say I didn't know that, I thought all games with dummy files required they be replaced in order to boot with Swap Magic.

the only reason you rebuild games is to lower the TOC (so its lower than the TOC of the swapmagic DVD)

thats why they dont need to be rebuilt for modchip users

if you go to ps2nfo.com,they have a whole section dedicated to swapmagic chat, listing all the games that boot and dont boot

@rickb2006

Maybe you got a corrupted ISO, if you downloaded it. And "hursty" is right, any PS2 games under 4.3GB DOES NOT NEED TO BE REBUILT period.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Well the venerable Hursty hit this one right on the head:

.

This is a common problem, it freezes after six or seven matches all the time. I think it's the iso in this case.

Then use some better media. More than likely it's a cheap media problem. Pick up some Taiyo Yuden's or Verbaim's.

86. Q. Where can I find good deals on legit Taiyo Yuden's and Verbatim's?
A. http://www.supermediastore.com
Great List of Merchants locally, online, in the U.K., etc:

Well it's kinda worthless to pay shipping on a 5 pack. Get a 50 pack of Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim's.

106. Q. Where I can find top notch Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim media locally?
A. This is somewhat of a crap shoot. Big manufacturer's like Fuji, Sony, TDK, and Maxell have at one point past or present payed Taiyo Yuden to manufacture media for them. The big companies slap their name on the label even though the discs were manufactured in Japan by Taiyo Yuden. These discs will always be made in Japan. Authentic TY media isn't made anywhere else. Even if it says Made in Japan on the label, there is no gauruntee of getting authentic Taiyo Yuden media. You could still end up with Sony or Fuji media codes. Hence why I said this is a crap shoot. Places like Comp USA, Office Depot, Sam's Club, and Staples will carry Made In Japan branded discs. Again there is no way to know for sure from the package whether these are authentic Taiyo Yuden's. If you don't want to risk getting non TY discs, you can find 50 packs of Verbatim in the afore mentioned chain stores. One other alternative is the Made in Japan High Grade Maxell DVD+R's. They will say Made in Japan on the label and "High Grade" as well. These are excellent media. Remember when using DVD+R's, it's best you have a burner that supports booktyping/bitsetting, and a v.4 PS2 or later. Much thanks goes to kivory666 aka "docTY" for this information. He is indeed the Taiyo Yuden master. The best place is to get authentic Taiyo Yuden media is from reputable online vendors like http://www.supermediastore.com http://www.rima.com http://www.meritline.com or http://www.newegg.com

re copyed the iso again from the original an without rebuilding the first burn was a bad burn at the begining i guess or i didnt get the data, it works at first it ran slow an i ran into someone sayin it worked for them in afterdawn forms if they, put the finger on the left of it an it works perfect no skips nothing its perfect, so i taped a piece of cloth or piece of a napin wadded up an taped with electrical tape in far back of the ps2 slim and push it down modded with slim to. so when i push it down it touchs disc, just a little an walla 100% no skip reliable copy blah? ok
