i am trying to take a know dummy file out of gta san andreas and rebuild it because the highest toc disk i have is final fantasy X. (i use swap magic)

i also need to convert it from pal to ntsc

cant convert from pal to ntsc cause its originally a mdf file.

so i tried extracting it with isobuster, took out the dummy file, and rebuilt it with cdgenps2.

but it is now bigger than it originally was.

i then patched it for ntsc

then tried to burn with dvd decrypter but it said its not the right format for burning onto a dvd

any suggestions ?

i would try it first wothout patching it. If you have Swap Magic 3.0 or above it will play both PAL & NTSC by switching the screen mode so that it matches the format of the game.

MDF File? are you backing this up from an original disc?
If you are then with what program?
I have heard of MDF files but have never worked with them myself.
I think they are used with Alcohol 120%
how big is the MDF File, the original one?

There's nothing special about GTA: San Andreas. This game doesn't even need to rebuild.

I trying to figure out why you even need to refresh the toc (ffx has a smaller toc than the swap magic dvd). Do you only have the swap magic cd?
