does the sonix method rip out any of the videos and bonus videos?? i want all the videos and bonus material.

what exactly get's removed?

i checked out a few versions of the sonix method. apparently videos get downsamled with this thing called PSS Downsampler.

how do u remove the bonus materials? is there a tutorial to burn gow w/o the bonus videos?

the sonix method is bullshit juts by the game and yur sorted.or invent the discs that sony use.

i found the god of war tool program and a guide to backing up this game on www.backuptools.co.uk. i followed the guide to the tee!! and i got an error that says "cannot find sytem.cnf file, aborting" and the file is right there!!! i can see it with my own eyes!! so close!! HELP!!!

i decided the best thing for me to do is to take all the bonus videos, convert them to XviD AVI, and keep em on the computer.

and now the game cinematics look gorgeous, instead of downsized and grainy

there are 3 versions of the GOW rip, one with stripped extras and relinking of the second layer psw files and one where you downsampel. you can adjust the downsampeling so you have higher quality in game FMV and lower quality bonus features. i prefer the 1st version where you rip the bonus out, you get 100% game play this way. if your hell bent on having the best of both worlds, as mentioned buy the original or back it up to dual layer or put the full iso on a harddrive.

yea, thats wat i did. i got the retail gow, removed the bonus and put htem on my computer, and converted them to xvid avi. then i just kept the fmvs untouched. sweetness
