hey guys. i was watching today with my buddy had his dell laptop here. i have a new toshiba dvd rom, and was ripping with dvddecrypt and noticed the whole ripping movie only did like 2.1x max. and he was doing it too and was at 4x.

how can i boost my ripping speed so im not sitting here waiting for 40 min.? any ideas on what do to?

there might well be a firmware update for your DVD drive , I'd suggest finding a firmware forum & searching your exact drive...
