i got a video card and i took out my old one and put in the new on but my computer wont boot. i put my old one back and still dosent boot is there any way i can reset the cmos of the motherboard because the screen is not showing up.

Absolutely. I recommend getting the manual and use that as your guide.

i've had boards that wouldn't post for whatever reason til i used the cmos jumper. was there any beeps when computer powered up?

yes it beeped more than needed. like it couldnt find the video card.

try reseating the card as might not be plugged all the way in.

by jumpering the cmos or removing the battery for a minute or so when computer is off & unplugged.

it will be a silver disk shaped in a battery holder clip. battery is a cr2032 marked on it.

have to move or short 2 pins. check motherboard manual if got 1 as morph suggested before.
