Hi people,
After checking my hardware, reading your threds and scouring nero.com i still cant find a solution and have come to a brick wall..

all was working fine with my burner untill recently (possibly with the install of Service Pack 2) now i can't burn at all. I've started fresh removing my software and even installed the latest nero, but no joy. Burn Log below.

could someone help please?

Your burner firmware is pretty old. Update for it is here

Your nero 7 is also old but many are having problems with the newest 7.0.5.4 so you may want to hold off updating it or get the prior update which is 7.0.1.4b.

thanks ive downloaded the burner firmware you suggested.
The 7.0.1.4b update link doesnt work however, does this still exist for download?
I couldnt see it on google.

Thanks again. Fingers crossed this helps..failing that ill try the latest update.

That ftp link brings up the download for me here. I just copy and paste it in link bar in brawser and hit enter then the download started. I downloaded it to be sure. It is still there.
