The problem I am now having is I have 120 minute long blank DVD's and the 2 movies I tried to copy to nero after I used dvd 43 were 98 minutes and 100 minutes I got a message from Nero saying DVD does not have enough space then it just aborts eberything. Do the blank DVD;s need to be a lot longer than the actuall movie or is there something I am still doing wrong? My money would be on me doing something wrong. COuld it posibly be because of all the extra's. I really appreciated the info you guys/gals gave me yesterday to find dvd 43 and dvd fab. Sorry I am so stupid on this but hey I can just blame my parents.LOL Thanks

You have too much movie for your disk, you could burn each seperately but cannot burn both together unless you compress them down. Here is a guide that will show you how to combine both files and then Shrink, there will be no menu though.

If you do this make sure you use deep analysis in Shrink along with quality enhancements as you will have some major compression with files this size. If you are not familiar with Shrink you can find further info and the program here.

DVD43 just breaks encryption and DVDFab Decrypter is a ripper. If your files are ripped to you HDD then you can use either DVD Shrink to compress and then Nero to burn. Or you can use Nero Recode and open your file and this will compress and burn to a DVD5 disk.

What movie are you trying to do, if it is an older movie there is no need to run DVD43, Shrink can remove the protection and rip/transcode and you can burn with Nero. If it is a newer protected movie then just run DVD43 in the background and use Shrink and Nero will burn. If you are going to use Nero then you must use Nero Recode. Use DVD43 in the background open Recode choose what you want and then hit backup Recode is by the same developer as Shrink it will rip/compress your movie and burn it.

Movie is house of wax. I just copied it to my hard drive and I don't seee any recode on my Nero . SO I put in a blank disk and got the same error. SO I should open up dvd shrinker now and shrink it down right. I Used Nero when I uploased it also. Sorry I am so stupid at this I JUST AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS PART

Okay if this is the recent HOW it is a Warner Bros. pic and there is probably nothing on it, do not bother with DVD43. Start from the beginning which is with DVD Shrink, open the program and point it to your disk. Here is a guide that shows you how to use Shrink with Nero to burn. See if this works out for you
