After having Memorex replace my defective dual-layer 16x8 burner, I'm still stumped.
Here's the error log from Nero after trying to burn a simple data DVD.
Thanks for any help on this...

hi 1st off, see at the top of the page, where the serial starts with
1A20-
remove your serial, thats not for every ones use just yours

Thanks for the help. Hopefully, we're getting closer to success. I updated the firmware to BWSE, restarted the computer, closed down unnecessary applications and virus software, and tried burning again. Here's the error log:

the speed up will be marginal , you may cut 5 or 10 minutes off the encode and burn but it will allow you to do more than just burn as there is sufficient resources allocated to your project, so maybe you can surf as well.I do!!!
