I've noticed that many are complaining about their 360 power supply getting very hot or even malfunctioning. So I searched for alternatives for those with this sort of problems and foud this dude, who adapted a computer ATX Power supply to his 360.Check it out:

Maybe we find ourselves buying third party PSU's in the near future.

Water-cooling seems a bit too complex for my taste, besides I've heard it's the power supply that overheats the most. What about the Pelican Fan Stand? Anyone tried that one? Does it work or is it just a waste of money?

I got the fan stand and seems to work well.
I didnt have any problems with overheating but did notice it would get pretty warm sometimes.

All in all it really helps to keep the system cooler. The bottom of the system where the fan is stays cool and the top of the system is just warm now as a result.

Have done a few tests and if i am playing tiger woods for a long time with out the fan going the system is extremly warm and the game will get choppy at some points. As long as the fan is on no problems at 3+ hours play.

It will void the warranty and makes the 360 twice as thick, it's not for me.
