Hello everyone! I know this is an old game but my son loves playing it so I want to make a backup of it before he destroys it. I am not new to the backup process. I have backed up many movies and many PS2 games. All of my CD & DVD backups have worked so far and I have a HD installed in my PS2. My console is a V7 with a DMS4 E.Z.I. Pro modchip flashed with Toxic V 0.41 OS. I am at my wits end with this game. I have tried all the methods that I could find in this and many other forums. I have used Alcohol 120% imange wizard and copy cd, I ahve also tried ISO buster,scanlite,Nero method to backup to DVD-R. I always get the same results. The movie at the first of the game plays fine, when it gets to the actual game the screen goes black. And yes it will play the original with the chip disabled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a CD based game DVDD won't work with CD based games. Only DVD based games.
