How do lock an unlocked HD ok i used slayer 2.6 to unlock my hd not realizing that i need a modchip for this option now it starts with error 5 how can i lock my hd again??

my friend did the same thing and i managed to fix his by puting his hhd in my xbox and booting it up cuz a chiped xbox doesnt need the hhd to be locked so then i ftp his eeprom and c drive to my computer and using xbox hard drive maker to make a boot disk for the computer then put his hdd in my computer and booted the disk and locked it then put it back in his xbox and it worked

ok so i can only do this with a chipped box? i ask because i dont have a chipped box, there isnt any other way to do this is there?
