Hi I have just begun this whole process and already I am getting frustrated. I've got the Magic disc 3.6 and I am using Games X Copy on my PC to copy games. Four attempts have failed outright on the Playstation with Fujifilm and Memorex but a couple of those attempts were with 8x media as well. I did get Motrtal Combat to be recognized on the playstation but it was choppy so I'm guessing the 8x was too fast. I have read the recommendations for better media so I am in limbo there for now becasue I live 45 minutes from Best Buy but I have other questions.
Does Games X Copy work for playstation games?

Can you burn playstation games from a DVD Rom drive as the reader and a DVD RW drive as the recorder disc to disc? I just insatlled a DVD Rom drive to make things faster and it shuts down every time I start.

try using DVD Decrypter and ditch the memorex

Don't use memorex. that is very poor media.
Read the discs at around 4x and burn at 4x.
I know from older games that you can just copy from one drive to the next but for stronger copyrighted ps2 games you will have to do it in 2 steps.

does any of you guys know if a hacked version of swap magic 3 dvd can help me play with an also hacked shadow of the colossus for ps2?
