I tried looking at other posts to see if this subject had come up before, but did not see any that relate to my problem so sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been talked about before.

I have several AVI files that I have put onto DVD but most seem to have a jerking or delay, they run ok on my pc as AVI's?

It's driving me mad as some or ok others are almost unwatchable.

The system I have is as follows.

P4 3.2 Ghz
1GB memory
2 x 160Gb hard drives.
LiteOn dvd rom drive
LG Super multi DVD ram drive.

I have used different media from ritek, memorex, verbatum to name but a few and have had this problem on all brands?

I use nero vision express 3 to convert the files and CloneDVD 2 to burn to the disk.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Andmerr thanks for the reply, I have DVDFab, CloneDVD, DVDSanta, Nero, DVD Decryper, DVDshrink and anyDVD, I have tried combinations of them all but still get this problem, but since I posted this another problem has started in that the avi are widescreen but when I convert and burn them they are full screen? have not changed the setup of nero etc, I am missing something or just being really stupid?

Thanks

Den

i mean have you tried using something like vso DivX to dvd as the encoder and then using Nero recode to burn the converted file to disc.

you mention Nero can you produce a log file

memorex, arent the best discs to use anyway
