PowerDVD not showing subtitles

Dear all,

I have been trying to play "Ally McBeal" on my laptop using PowerDVD. I am sure that there is English subtitle on the disc (tested with a DVD player), but PowerDVD just doesn't show the subtitle even with the "diaplay subtitles" checked. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Go in DVD menu,not just the player, and turn subtitles on, maybe that'll help.
