im using the memory card exploit and cog swap loader to boot this game.

the first time i burned nfl street 2, it wouldnt load at all. so i patched it with the adr ea patcher. it then loaded fine (this is an echelon release, my disc is scratched) and the echelon intro screen came up and the thing at the bottom scrolled and at the end said press O for ntsc. i pressed O and it froze.

i found out that there was a crash fix for this so i patched it with that and then burned it. now its been patched by adr and then the crash fix. but now it wont load at all (no intro screen)

ive wasted 3 dvd's on this sucker and only got one left.

would just patching it with the crash fix work?
or doing the crash fix and then adr ea patcher ?

First of all use DVD Decrypter. Second make sure your ps2 mc exploit is loaded correctly. Then use a DVD-R verbatim is my preference. Then burn it using DVD Decrypter. I used swap magic 3.6 and it worked fine. Hope this helps, want more post again ill look into it.

i know that some ea games need patching...it didnt work so i patched it.

the release i got needed a crash fix also. so i patched it

its then been patched twice.

does the order matter?

Ok maybe its your media because I just burned Ea Sports Arena Football and EA sports NCAA 06 Football and i did not patching just popped in a DVD-R pressed burn on decrypter, then after it was done i loaded my swap magic 3.6 swap the disc and they both worked. Most game and i would say about 90% of games do not need patching so dont patch it. Ill go rent NFL street 2 and burn it and see if I have any problems

Ok i just rented the game, burned it to the CPU using decrypter, burn it to a verbatim DVD-R, used swap magic 3.6 and it worked fine. I never had any luck with the cog swap or MC exploit. Go buy yourself a swap magic 3.6. If you can find a used game shop that sells ps2 games, you can probably find it there
