Help please. I seem yto be having the same problem with the illegal disk message.

You are low on memory, try closing down any unnecessary progs,including spyware dont multi task while burning

Slow your burn speed to 4X, I notice this was a simulation burn, what are you attempting to do?

Sorry replyied to wrong spot.

I was simulating just so I could see if it would recognize the disc.

I can burn +r but not -R. discs are from 2 different manufacture.

Thanks, I will try slowing burn speed and make sure nothing else is running.

OK so it does appear that i had media that my drive would not recognize. I tried a different media and all worked fine.
