Ive just repaired a computer for another problem but I just want to know if anyone else has ever encountered this the machjne is a compaq
the dvd burner a liteon when the burner is connect whether it be as master, slave, cable select on ide 1 or 2 by itself or in conjunction with another drive the only way to start the computer is push the power button once then turn it off then start it again this burner functions fine in other computers and other dvd burners function normaly in this computer the compaq rompaq is up to date as is the burners firmware and it burns perfectly normaly obviously some sort of board dvd rom conflict has anyone else ever encounered this ?
