Can somebody please take a look at this log and tell me what's wrong with it? I've tried to burn the final recode of Fresh Prince but it keeps on saying "Could not perform end-of-disc". I've wasted 3 perfectly great discs already.

P.S. Is there a better alternative beside Nero? Thank you in advance

Your drive just doesn't like the media.Where did you buy the discs?

Quote:
Disc Manufacturer ID: YUDEN000

Media Specific [16..63]:
00 00 03 59 55 44 45 4E - 30 30 30 54 30 32 00 38 ...YUDEN000T02.8

i don't want to jump to conclusions, but i wonder if you have real Yaiyo Yuden

If they are x8, they should code :8x dvd+r = YUDEN000T02 .in your log is T02,or YUDEN000,YUDEN000T02.8?

we will see what someone says.

I bought the discs at BestBuy. Out of the 3 discs, 2 were Fujifilm with YUDEN002 media code, the other was Vetbatim with MCC004 code.

Well if their fuji +r chances are their the real deal - ty's.
You also have a no seek error - to better explain it - here it is from nero's site:
Quote:
Poor IDE cable or incorrect cable - For higher end recorders these days if you use the 40pin cable you can have all sorts of unusual symptoms. It would be best to use an ATA-133 80 wire cable.
# Driver conflicts - If you have or had another CD recording software installed on your system, its drivers could be conflicting with our software. This is rare for this symptom, but it does occur. Uninstall any other recording software and make sure all its drivers have been removed with it. Then reinstall Nero and make sure to use the latest version we have posted on our website.
# Defective recorder - The optical head on your recorder may need cleaning or servicing. Or it's possible the circuit board on your recorder has an open coil or blown diode or resistor. Any of these could cause the error. Only solution would be to send the drive in for service to the recorder manufacturer.
There are 2 more reasons - fimrware and media - but both of them from your log are okay.
Have you ever been able to have nero burn a dvd?
Editted to add: try a lens cleaner on your drive and check the connections.

@ binkie7

I have successfully burnt a lot movies using Nero up until this problem arrived.

@ cyprusrom

The discs are indeed made in Japan.

If they are MIJ, we can rule out media. I wonder if that NT-SPTI has anything to do with it...

That or a corrupt aspi - this is suspicious due to this:

Unless the burner is external.
@z3n
Have you tried any of the suggestions?
Is your drive external?
Have your tried another prog to burn w/ these discs? Do you have another prog like decrypter to try?

I've checked the connection, and it seems fine to me. My drive is internal, and I only use DVDFab Decrypter for decrypting and Nero for recoding and Burn. Is there any other alternative I should try?

Try to compress the file with DVD Shrink instead of Recode and then burn with Imgburn.

DVD Shrink: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/software.htm

Imgburn: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Both are free proggys, let us know if you need help using them...pretty easy though.

Or you can burn with DVD Decrypter after Shrink, LOL
Can also try and see if you can burn with Nero Burning Rom instead of Recode

After you try the other progs to burn let us know how it turns out.
You can also check you aspi in Nero tool kit>info tool - aspi tab.
