BT 2110 voyager router HELP PLEASE

hey, i recently moved my old pc upstairs and got a new one for downstairs(both using 2mb connection), i am using a BT 2110 voyager router and a ''54mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter'' to get the connection but now when i try and use any torrent client im downloading at about 10-30 kb , i have tried this port opening stuff but i jsut connot get it to work.

Using Azureus i put the ''incomping tcp port to 6881''
I also got my ip from running cmd then ipconfig and logged into my BT router and tried to add ports i put the ranges as 6881-6889 as i had seen this on other explanations of this problem

But it still wont work at all, i have missed out some of the stuff that have done as i have been trying to fix this for ages and cant remember everything ive tried but if you can see what im doing wrong then please tell me because im an incredibly impatient person and i cant stand downloading at 10kbs

Oh i forgot 2 say i have windows firewall disables and dont think i have another one running

cmon plz reply im still stuck on the same problem, i have a 2110 router downstairs and i have forwarded ports, set the ports on the bit torrent client and set up 1 static IP adress. and i am currently downloading at 1kb
