hi, over the past couple of days when i play audio through my computer it crashes for no reason, but the media bar still acts as though it is playing, it only does this when i am running other programs such as word or internet explorer, if i leave the audio for around half a minuite it usually sorts itself out. My computer never used to do this, does anyone know what is causing this to happen?

Are you playing music files or audio cd's? and what player are you using to play music?

music files, i thought it was just with windows media player but limewire also does it. if i close a file down while it is still playing it will just make a awful noise until i open another music file. i have noticed that the time bar does stop when it makes this noise, but if i pause the file and then play it again its fine.
