Is manually entering the volume lable (SLUS_XXXXX) for a dvd before burning it important?

If, so, can it be changed after burning it?

I forgot to change the label of the iso [to SLUS_xxxxx] for a couple of games I burnt using DVD Decrypter and Nero. I left them as 'uknown'. So the dvd is basically left unlabelled... but Nero still reads it a playstation cd but it shows 'not available' on the title and publisher field... (This doesn't happen when I label them E.g.... It shows Title:SLUS_21207 Publisher:Square Enix)

IS this important or should i get make a new copy and label them according to their SLUS numbers?

I am using DVD Decrypter for ICO and Suikoden III....

It is not important for the burning process. I have burnt more than 100 games with DVD Decrypter/Nero and never put in a label.

You only need to use the correct label when rebuilding it with CD/DVD Gen.
