I have just upgraded to Nero 7 Ultra Edition which includes Nero Vision 4. Whenever using Nero Vision 4, I receive the following application error:
?The exception Illegal Instruction
An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction
(0xc000001d) occurred in the application at location 0x0fdd121d.
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"
I have reinstalled Nero 7 five times and have used the Nero Clean Tools, but the problem still hasn't been fixed. Can anyone help?

Many members have encounter problems with bugs in the last Nero update. You might want to consider going back to vers. 7.0.1.4b

Do you know where I might be able to download the older version?

I would stick to the programs you already have. At the moment Nero is throwing up a lot of unexplained errors whereas the 2 progs you are using are tried and true progs without any problems at this stage.

ftp://ftp.us2.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe
http://httpdl6.us.nero.com/software/nero7/Nero-7.0.1.4b_eng_no_yt.exe
Try one of these two. I think they are equally easy to use, you just have to get accostumed. A pretty nifty program, although it can be temperamentl:~)
ADDED: But I concur with Gwendolin, "if it is not broken, don't fix it". Nero has a multitude of functions, but i probably only use about 30%.
