Hi, I'm not sure if this thread belongs in this section, but I was wondering what resolution do PC games use? Cos I was thinking of hooking up my pc to tv, for movies which people say look ok, but would games look alright?

i htink that the higher the resolution the higher the system specs need to be for best performance, t ois mostly recommended to play in 640-480 mode cause its default anyway.

or are you talking about aspect ratio and stuff

most tvs display upto 1024x768 and games do tend to look ok but you usually have turn the brightness up to see it.

like Phantom Says it really depends on your system but id reccomend 800x600 or 1024x768 for viewing on a TV
