Hi, I know you can use dvd2svcd to for example convert divx to svcd and add subs.

I already have the svcd, so no avi, is there any way to either add the subtitles, not a vobsubtitle, to the svcd and then burn or burn the svcd with subtitles?

You can but that is considered "transcoding" which decreases the video quality. Why subtitles anyway? To me they just get in the way, lol.
