Hey my ps2 is a version i have done absolutely no modding to it (yet)

i took it apart and it still worked but then i took out the cr2032 battery on the ps2 motherboard and the damn ps2 freezes now. When i boot it up all the lights that are supposed to spin just close into a ball then the ps2 freezes.

Please Help

Uhm.. did you put the battery back in? I think it might need soldering in.
