Im new to this Torrent downloading lark so please be gentle lol! Well anyway I started downloading 'X' using 'Y' and I got the download from 'Z'!
Well anyway, everything's been going well, I was getting speeds at 170Kbps and I've nearly cleared it in a day but now it's stuck on 94.5% and won't budge!
I stop and resume it but it will now and again start downloading at 1kbps then 0, then 1, then 0 but nothing is coming off the remaining download size! What happened?
Is the download basically lost, or shall I just stop it until tomorrow?
If I stop or pause it and turn my computer off, will it start at 0% in the morning?
PLEASE HELP!!!

It will still be there. The uploader probably didn't upload the whole thing yet, only 94% -- and he might just leave it like that to tick people off. He might be having problems too... or he just decided to upload it slowly so that it spreads well.

Okay thanks for the help! Will edit my post now! So does that mean I will eventually get the download?
Would it be a good idea to just download it at whatever it goes to, and leave it on through the night?
Just edited mine mate! Is that better?

If it's definitely stuck and not moving, i would stop it and try starting it again the next day, or a few hours later. Every once in a while someone will go out of their way to waste your time and only upload something partially... if it's stuck for a few days or more, I would just quit it, because that's probably what happened.

Hi mate, I checked it this morning and it hasn't budged! So the filth and scum is just winding people up!
Nevermind, i've restarted it now, the difference is im using Utorrent because I've heard it's the best?
Does anyone agree?

I like BitComet, so I can only speak for BitComet.
Are you downloading the same torrent, just with uTorrent, instead of BitComet? Because, if so, you're going to get the same result. It sounds like you could benefit from reading a guide, or a tutorial on bittorrent.
Go to www.google.com and search for a bittorrent guide, or bittorrent faq, then try reading one, or two.

It just happened again on uTorrent but with a different download! It stopped at 75.3% and won't budge again, only downloading at 0.1%! I sick of this torrent lark already!
What's the point in it all if no downloads will complete???

anothaer factor could be where you got the tracker from. Try using private sites rather than the public ones as the mods will have more control over uploads. If they find someone is arsing about then they will get them off the site. Ususaly the uploaders have to ask teh mods permission to become uploaders as well (on really good sites).

Bloody hell that clown piccy is freaking me out lol!
Cheers for all the help people! Im downloading three things at the moment and they arent downloading terribly fast but as long as they finish and I actually have the download I don't care!
My first two downloads as i've said bloody stopped right at the end!
