Players seem to be a bit more "picky" about the discs they will play. It could be a media problem (most likely) or a bad IFO file on the disc. What is the brand of media used and at what speed was it burned? Can you run a Nero Speed check on the disc and report the results?

I have one DVD that does the same thing. On one player, it will show a bad disc symbol, but plays anyway when I hit play. On my DVD recorder, it will stop as soon as I select play movie from the main menu, but plays fine when I choose chapter 1 from the chapter selection menu. The trick was in the compression. Once I ran the file through VobBlanker, and reburned, it was fixed. Might wanna try that.

Hope that helped.

Nothing special at all, just supply it with a source folder (the VIDEO_TS folder on your HDD) and a target (make a new folder with a different name from the source) and hit process. Continue on as usual with the new folder.
