First thing is I will ask you to turn your caps off, it's considered SHOUTING.
Now can you please give us a little more info to work with, like the format of your files you downloaded and possibly the size of the files.

note: apologies re caps lock/shouting.
I download movies from bearshare p2p most are AVI. file I burn them to dvd if i download a full movie in one part, other times users havbe split the movies and i download in two parts and burn each part to a cd, creating a VCD.
I am out of dvds and am attempting to split a full AVI movie of around 700/800megabytes into two parts, I know i did it once before in Nero over a year ago when i was exploring once, and its kinda driving me nuts that i cant work it out. i am running Nero 6 enterprize edition 6.6.0.8 Nero vision express3 3.1.0.21
while im here i might as well ask also if anyone knows about this error message i get when opening certain applications on Nero, it dosent appear to interfere with anything i am doin or restrict me... it reads:'Hardware acceleration is deactivated. some capture devices may not be working properly. you can activate hardware acceleration using the direct x diagnostics tool'...im guessing this is relating to the web cam function re capture devices, but am not really sure , ive tried finding direct x diagnostic tool but really have no idea. bout a lot of stuff actually lol

you can use VirtualDub mp3 freeze to split up the movie. just double click the mp3freeze exec file then click file-open video file to load the video. now click the video tab and set it to direct stream copy. now set the start and end position and save it. after its done do the same thing for the next part. this is a very useful proggy and every videophile should have it in their arsenal.
