I know the AMD is phasing out their XP chips, and I am on Ebay trying to grab a couple since no one in the country has them (or they are very expensive right now). I see that there are a lot of XP-M's out there. I know these are laptop chips. Has anyone ever used these on a desktop mobo. If so are they safe? Would you recommend one for a soon to be hardcore gamer with a Wireless Network setup. The chips would go in MSI KT880 boards. 5 cents from all please, b4 I go grab [/IT]

Not to sound like a skeptic, but I'm wondering why they are going so cheap on Ebay. what is the diff between a desktop ver, and a laptop ver.
