hi
I firstly hope I have posted this msg in the right forum
I am wanting a new Pc. This will not go near the net (Problems with trojans)
Anyhow - I am wanting my new PC to manage Video and Pictures without effort. I will be using Photoshop 8 for my pictures, but unsure of what programme to use for Video. (any ideas ?)
PC hardware I am not clued up on at all.
Anyhow what specs would you suggest? What motherboard?/type,what processor/type. What memory/type. Bacically the full specs. Also I am wanting to put a digital tv card in it as well as a dvd burner.
Any hel would be apprecated.

Well I can tell you one thing...get a MAC. Macs are way better with working with pictures and digital media than windows. At least from my experience...and Im a graphic designer.

thanks for your reply. Problem is - I have tried working with macs - but i find it a litle difficult (diffrent) as I am so used to windows. I know macs are used in the industry for graphic design etc, but to be honest I think I would prefer to stay with windows.

if its video editing you want to do then like esrever says a MAC is your best option, but since you want to stick with windows i belive one of the best systems you could get would have to be a Socket 939 Amd Opteron System but it wont come cheap
