Having major burning problems with nero 7 ultra edition. I bought the downloadable version off the internet, and am having a hell of a time copying my backups. Never had any trouble out of Nero 6.6 Ultra edition like i am having with Nero 7. I copied 1 of my backups successfully bout 2 hours ago but i haven't had any luck since. I used the simulation to make sure that my settings of disc media and burning speed was correct. Successfully went through the simulation, and when it burned 1% failure BAM! Here is my error log:

The only thing I can see is a media issue, your burner doesnt like your choice of media, strange as Ritek is good media, Your firmware is current, your Nero is current, burn speed OK

My master copy of the movie, The Legend of Zorro is on Ritek Ridata 4X G04 DVD-R media, and the blank media is Maxell up to 8X DVD-R.

My main error is a power calibration error??????

Maxell are NOT the best discs on the market, your burner is signalling the fact that it doesnt like Maxell, try some different media and I am sure your problem will be solved.

This is only my opinion, what you choose to do from here is up to you, all I can do is call it as I see it.

The simulation burn was successful because you had no media present, introduce the media=error.

Did you use the same brand (Maxell DVD-R) disc that you used for the Zoro backup?
